We're planning to open the beta in November 2026. Use the Notify me button at the top of the site and we'll email you once when it opens, and only about that. Dates can move, and we'll update the notice at the top of the site if they do.
It means ItemLine is open to early users while we keep improving it, so you may notice changes and the occasional rough edge. Features and pricing may change; see the Terms of Service. If you have a question about your account or data, send us a message from the Contact page.
Paid plans start with a 30-day free trial of the plan you choose. Connect is free to use. The Terms of Service and Refund policy explain billing details.
Connect if you only want to order from distributors on HubLine. Retail if you buy from vendors and want to track purchases, expenses and returns. Wholesale if you sell to a roster of business clients and need invoicing. Distributor if you also deliver and want route planning and the client map.
Yes. A Connect account can browse catalogues on HubLine, place orders, follow order history and message suppliers at no charge.
Yes, from Settings. Your account, team and data stay with you when you change plan.
Retail is $149.99 a year, Wholesale $699.99 and Distributor $999.99. Monthly prices are $14.99, $69.99 and $99.99. Prices are in USD and taxes may apply.
Yes on paid plans. Each additional business is billed at $4.99 a month, and you switch between them from the business menu.
Our Refund policy explains how cancellations and refunds work. You can also email support@itemline.app.
HubLine is the network inside ItemLine. Distributors publish a catalogue and other businesses find them, browse the catalogue and send orders without phone calls or texts.
No. Every plan, including free Connect, can browse catalogues and place orders.
Open Find Suppliers in the menu and search the network. You can save suppliers and build order drafts from their catalogue.
Wholesale and Distributor accounts. You choose which products to publish and can unpublish them at any time.
A tool for building design profiles for your product catalogue, including printable layouts such as flyers and weekly ads. It's available on Wholesale and Distributor.
It arrives in Incoming Orders. You can accept or reject it and convert an accepted order into an invoice.
Yes. HubLine has messaging built in, including conversations tied to a specific order.
Your network profile, which you manage in Settings. Only products you've published appear in your catalogue.
Type them in or scan a barcode with your phone's camera. On plans that include vendor invoice scanning you can also read items from a supplier invoice.
UPC-A, UPC-E and EAN-13. The same product written in different forms, such as 12 or 13 digits, is matched as one item so scanning doesn't create duplicates.
A description you write once. It prefills under the item name whenever you add the item to an invoice, and you can still edit it per invoice. It's separate from the internal notes field, which is never shown to clients.
On Wholesale and Distributor you can set a threshold per item or use the default. Items at or below it appear on your dashboard and in your Business Health score. Low stock alerts are not part of the Retail plan.
Yes on Retail, Wholesale and Distributor. When you add or edit an item, answer "Does this item expire?" If you choose Yes, pick the date and the item is added to your Expiration Tracker automatically. Choose No and it's taken out of the tracker. You can also add products straight to the tracker, and choose how far ahead you want to be warned.
Yes. Items you mark as expiring are linked to their tracker entry, so changing the date on the item updates the tracker. Products you add straight to the tracker are matched to your items by UPC.
Units sold, revenue, how many different clients bought the item, a recent sales trend and a simple projection of when stock may run out based on recent sales. Projections are estimates.
No. Stock is deducted when an invoice is sent or a payment is recorded against it. Voiding or deleting an invoice that had deducted stock puts it back.
Photograph or upload a supplier invoice and ItemLine reads the line items, matching them to items you already carry or suggesting new ones. Always review before saving, because scanning can make mistakes. Available on Retail, Wholesale and Distributor.
When a supplier's cost for something you buy changes, ItemLine flags it so you can update your price or dismiss the alert. Available on Retail, Wholesale and Distributor.
Create an order to a vendor as a draft, send it, and mark it received (or partially received) as stock arrives.
Log goods you send back to a supplier and track the credit you're owed. Available on Retail, Wholesale and Distributor.
Record business spending with a category and whether it's paid or unpaid. Unpaid expenses show up in your Business Health score. Expenses can include a photo or PDF of the receipt.
Tap Filters on the Clients page. A panel slides in where you can pick a visit status (overdue, due soon, on schedule, never visited), show only clients with unpaid invoices, and choose tags, with a search if you have many. Your choices show as small chips you can remove one by one, and they stay while you move between pages.
Contact details, address, notes, tags, a target visit frequency and a history of visits and invoices.
By each client's own visit frequency in days. If none is set, 30 days is used. A client who has never been visited counts as overdue.
A visit you log yourself, a stop you complete on a route, or a sent invoice for that client. A route stop and an invoice for the same client within 12 hours count as one visit, and a draft invoice never logs one. You can backdate a visit you log manually.
Lines from your catalogue or typed by hand, discounts, tax, notes and terms, with your branding, exported as a PDF.
A draft is a work in progress: it doesn't take stock and doesn't log a visit. Sending it deducts stock, and recording a payment against a draft does the same.
Set a template on a schedule and ItemLine creates the invoices for you as drafts. You can pause, resume or cancel a template.
You can record full or partial payments against an invoice, and its status changes to partial or paid automatically.
You invite a client by email from their profile. What they see depends on whether they already use ItemLine. Clients without an ItemLine account get a web portal with their invoices, balance due and visits. Clients with an ItemLine account see you as a vendor inside their app. You can revoke access at any time.
They get an email with a secure setup link that's valid for 72 hours, choose a password, and sign in at itemline.app/portal/login. Their portal shows the balance due, which invoices are open, overdue or paid, and a list of your visits. They can open any invoice and print it or save it as a PDF.
If the invite goes to an email that already has an ItemLine account, they're linked automatically with no setup. You're added to their Vendors, and your invoices and visits appear on your vendor page in their app. Items on your invoices that they don't carry are suggested to add, and price changes are flagged. This needs a Retail, Wholesale or Distributor account on their side.
Only the date and the type of each visit, such as a visit or a route visit. Your notes and who made the visit are never shared.
No. Clients only see invoices that have been sent, never drafts or deleted invoices.
Use the Year and Month filters above the list. Pick a year to narrow to it, then a month if you want. On Expenses the Total card follows whichever filter you choose, and the list is split into Stock purchases and Expenses, each with its own total. Your filters and searches are remembered while you move between pages, and reset when you refresh or close the app.
Log goods a client sends back, restock them if appropriate and issue a credit against their account.
Sales performance across the year, so you can see how the business is trending.
Into three tabs. Plan is where you pick stops from a list colored by each client's visit schedule (red overdue, amber due soon, green on schedule), with quick filters and saved selections. Planned shows the week ahead and your upcoming routes. History shows routes you've run. Anything you've picked but not saved stays put while you visit other pages, and resets when you refresh or close the app.
Select clients, start from your current location or an address you type, and ItemLine builds a driving order with distance and time estimates. You can open it in your maps app. Distances and times are estimates and don't account for live traffic.
Yes. A client's address is looked up when you plan a route, and clients without a usable address can't be placed on a route.
Routes saved for a future date and time. Pick a person in charge, and they're reminded the evening before and shortly before the start time.
Check that route reminders are switched on in Settings, Notifications, and that your device has allowed notifications for ItemLine. Reminders go to the person in charge of the route, and a route that starts sooner than its reminder lead time has no reminder, which ItemLine tells you when you save it. Owners can also see in Settings, Notifications whether the reminder timer is running, and you can send yourself a test notification there.
Only the person in charge of that route, on their own devices.
It splits a long list of clients across the days you choose to work. Clients near each other go on the same day, and days are ordered by how overdue each client is relative to their own schedule. You can still change the day for any group and move clients between groups.
Yes. Spread across days asks whether to include them. If nobody is overdue, it uses the clients closest to being due.
Progress is saved on your device. Reopen Route Planner and you're offered the chance to resume.
After the day passes you're prompted to reschedule the route. It also stays listed as missed until you do.
The account owner chooses: a week, 30 days, 90 days, a year or all time. Older entries are removed automatically.
Clients with a saved location, coloured by whether they're overdue for a visit.
A score and a short list of things pulling it down, such as clients overdue for a visit, unpaid expenses, unsent drafts and low stock. It's calculated from your invoices, inventory and client activity and updated daily, and each item links to where you can act on it.
PulseLine is the AI assistant inside ItemLine. You can ask it how to do things in the app and about running your business.
It's an AI assistant and can make mistakes. Treat its answers as a starting point and verify anything important.

For each area of the app you choose whether a teammate can view, add, edit or delete. Owners always have full access.

On the web, on iPhone and on Android. Only the person in charge of a route gets that route's reminders.
Yes, from Settings. Deletion is permanent, so export anything you need first.
Connect your QuickBooks Online account and ItemLine sends your invoices to it. Voiding an invoice voids the synced copy, and a sync log shows what was sent. Requires your own QuickBooks account, available on Wholesale and Distributor.
Connect your Google account once and each sent invoice is saved as a PDF in a folder named ItemLineInvoices for that year. Deleting an invoice in ItemLine moves its file to your Drive trash. ItemLine only touches files it created. Requires your own Google account, available on Wholesale and Distributor.
The access tokens for QuickBooks and Google Drive are stored encrypted, and you can disconnect either at any time.
